JUNE SULLEY

June Sulley is a graduate of the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Art history. She graduated from the University of Ottawa with her Bachelor of Education in 2005, and in 2009 she obtained her designation as a specialist in visual arts through OISE. June has traditionally taught senior visual arts courses: including drawing & painting, sculpture; craft; and media arts. Outside of J.F.R. she teaches art to all ages in vrious community locations and events. June currently maintains a 5/6 contract, which allows her to create her own art. Many of her artworks are private commissions which are found all over Canada in private collections. Today, June predominantly creates portraits in pen and pencil, but she also enjoys painting landscapes, in both acrylic and oil. Some mediums she also enjoys include encaustic; marquetry; textile felting; batik; photography; and fine metal jewellery. Overall, what influences her art is realism and nature, but she also finds post modern art to be intellectually stimulating.

Jennifer Taylor is a graduate of the University of Guelph, where she majored in Studio Art and minored in French Language. She further developed her passions for language, culture and art by teaching English in Paris before completing her Bachelor of Education at Queen's University in 2017. She currently works in Guelph teaching both French and Visual Art. Her own artistic practice is focused primarily in painting, with some exploration of photography and darkroom processes.
