Guitar Music University/College Prepartation

Course Description

This course is a continuation of the Grade 11 experienced guitar course. Composition will be further developed, particularly in the genre of popular song. Theory will as well be further developed through more challenging repertoire where students will employ a more advanced playing technique. Students will be required to develop a thorough understanding of the language of music which will include the prevailing technology, and of music history as it pertains particularly to the guitar.
