Louisa brings 23 years of teaching French Immersion students to the Drama department at John F Ross and its new French Immersion Drama course.  She taught French Immersion Drama at Erin District High School for a number of years before finally “coming home” to teach at John F Ross.  Over the years, Louisa has enjoyed helping students orchestrate full musicals and all sorts of drama and dance performances and events.  In the future, she hopes to be a part of more full scale dramatic art projects at John F Ross.  Louisa’s art background is in Dance, having earned the RAD Advanced Ballet Certification parts one and two. She teaches the occasional ballet class locally when she is needed and enjoys dance class when she is able.  Professionally, Louisa was recently selected as a recipient of the Loran Teachers Building Leaders Award in 2021, of which she is humbly proud and uncharacteristically shy.
