UNIT 2 - Lighting
By the end of the unit, I can demonstrate:

how to safely use lighting equipment

how to safely use ladders

an understanding of the differences in lighting instruments

how to use a lighting system

UNIT 3 - Voice
By the end of the unit, I can demonstrate:

the importance of articulation, projection, vocal variety and memorization.

the use of voice to support dramatic works.

ability to support the lessons learned in units 1 & 2: group process and lighting.

UNIT 4 - Scene Study
By the end of the unit, I can demonstrate:

understanding of the dynamics of orchestrating a scene

the ability to read plays, choose and develop a scene, rehearse and present said scene

the ability to create and present a new scene from existing characters, settings, plots, and themes.

UNIT 5 - Stage Combat

specific stage combat moves in a safe and supportive manner.

UNIT 6 - Mime

UNIT 7 - Children’s Theatre Production Unit
By the end of the unit, I can demonstrate:

an understanding elements of children’s theatre by reading and analyzing plays for young audiences.

the ability to develop a character(s) in a play.

work through a rehearsal process in development of a play.

demonstrate the ability to write blocking, business and character notes for a play.

worth through technical rehearsals, dress rehearsals and presentations for elementary students.
